  • Hee-Dong Kim, Managing Partner

    Hee-Dong is responsible for sourcing and managing investments across all sectors. He acts as a director of Equinox International, Oxford Cannabinoid Technologies, and McQueens Flowers.

    Before Kingsley, Hee-Dong worked at Invision Private Equity, a Swiss private equity firm focused on investments in Europe. He led several transactions for the firm and was involved in all phases of the investment cycle. Hee-Dong previously worked at the Boston Consulting Group and in 2004 became Head of M&A at private equity-financed operator of acute care hospitals and care homes AMEOS AG, growing the business to over €250 million in revenues through multiple acquisitions.

    Born in Germany, Hee-Dong is fluent in German, Korean and English; and holds a degree in Business Mathematics and Statistics from the London School of Economics, as well as an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Away from work, he enjoys travelling, jazz, and classical music.

  • Neil Mahapatra, Managing Partner

    Neil is responsible for sourcing and managing investments across all sectors. He acts as a director of portfolio companies Equinox International, Oxford Cannabinoid Technologies, Atlas Tower Group, and Intelligent Telecommunications Ltd.

    Neil began his career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley in London, before moving to J. Rothschild Capital Management, where he led private investments for Lord Rothschild’s family office and RIT Capital Partners plc.

    Neil was born in the UK and holds a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Oxford, where he was also President of the Oxford Union, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Outside of work, Neil enjoys playing the piano, and is also a board member of social justice architecture non-profit, the MASS Design Group.

  • Jakub Świeboda, Principal

    Jakub joined Kingsley Capital Partners in 2015, where he is responsible for sourcing, executing, and managing investments. He worked on McQueens Flowers, Atlas Tower Group, and Intelligent Telecommunications Ltd (also as a board member).

    Before joining Kingsley, Jakub worked at L.E.K. Consulting, advising clients on strategy and commercial due diligence projects. He began his career at MP Corporate Finance, where he worked on cross-border mergers and acquisitions between the German-speaking DACH region and Central and Eastern Europe, later joining Grant Thornton in Poland as Head of M&A.

    Jakub was born and raised in Warsaw and is fluent in Polish and English. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Wales and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. Away from business, Jakub enjoys travelling, visiting art galleries and playing golf.
